LearnIt Course: A Unique Opportunity

Joining the LearnIt course - coding and Finnish language was a pivotal step. This training brought together 15 individuals from diverse backgrounds and skills, all sharing the common goals of enhancing knowledge, expanding networks, and securing job opportunities. The course included a project development component, and our team decided to create a web application for plant care.

Defining Teams

With the project's concept in mind, we organized ourselves into specialized teams: frontend, backend, AI specialist, product manager, and SCRUM-master. I took on the role of leading the frontend team, a surprising discovery for me. While I knew I was a strong team player, realizing my potential as a leader was unexpected. This involved delegating tasks, assisting junior team members, and conducting code reviews. Collaborating with other teams proved to be a positive experience.

Technical Stack

One of the additional benefits of this project was the acquisition of new technical knowledge. I delved into and applied a new framework, further expanding my skill set. The chosen framework proved to be a powerful tool, adding another layer of proficiency to my development repertoire.
